Quality Control Officer

Role Overview

Arete Wood Limited is seeking a Quality Control Officer to ensure that all materials, processes, and finished products meet the company's quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and verify specifications, dimensions, color, thickness, and condition.
• Conduct quality inspections during cutting, CNC machining, edge banding, and other production stages.
• Verify dimensional accuracy against approved cutting lists and specifications.
• Identify, document, and report defects and non-conformances.
• Conduct final inspection of completed jobs and minimize rework and rejection.
• Follow up on corrective actions and monitor recurring defects.
• Maintain accurate quality inspection records and reports.
• Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Optimizer, and other relevant teams.

Requirements

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in Quality Control within manufacturing, furniture, woodworking, or a related environment is an advantage.
• Good understanding of measurements, specifications, and quality inspection procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
