Chef / Live in Chef - Ikorodu II

We are a reputable hotel with branches in Lagos and other cities in the country, providing excellent hospitality services. Due to expansion, we require the service of a Live in Chef.

Responsibilities

• Menu planning, overseeing all the kitchen operations and managing kitchen inventory and training kitchen staff.
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and checking the quality of ingredients.
• Keeping a sanitary and orderly environment in the kitchen.
• Monitoring kitchen stock, placing orders, and taking stock of ingredients and ensuring the kitchen is stocked with necessary supplies.
• Determining with his/her team, the planning and great presentation of dishes.
• Proper setup of work station with all cooking equipment.
• Supervising a steady flow of dishes and creating dishes to add to the menu.

Requirements

• Ability to prepare both continental and local dishes, with good knowledge of pastry, barbecue point and kill and other related dishes.
• Candidate must reside in Lagos presently.
