New Ideal Model Schools in Jalingo is seeking a Cultural and Creative Art Teacher to teach art history, visual arts, music, drama, and local cultural heritage. The role involves lesson planning, practical instruction, talent discovery, student assessment, organizing events, and maintaining classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Create schemes of work and daily lesson plans covering art history, visual arts, music, drama, and local cultural heritage.
• Teach drawing, painting, sculpting, local crafts, and design techniques using various studio tools safely.
• Identify and nurture individual student capabilities in performing and fine arts.
• Grade projects, track skill growth, and maintain accurate academic records.
• Organize school art displays, cultural festivals, and drama presentations.
• Keep a safe, clean, and positive environment while managing creative materials and supply inventories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years experience.
