Mathematics Teacher

Pestalozzi Montessori School is seeking a highly competent, passionate, and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join their team. The role involves teaching mathematics effectively and engagingly, preparing lesson plans, assessing students, and maintaining classroom discipline.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics effectively and engagingly.
• Prepare appropriate lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Assess students' understanding and monitor their academic progress.
• Provide additional support to students who require assistance.
• Maintain proper classroom discipline and encourage active participation.
• Participate actively in school activities and contribute to the overall development of the school.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in Mathematics.
• B.Sc. or HND in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• Must have a strong command of Mathematics and demonstrate excellent subject knowledge.
• Ability to simplify difficult mathematical concepts and make learning engaging.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Passionate, patient, responsible, and committed to students' academic development.
• Ability to prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and other instructional materials.
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to teach English Language as a subject is an added advantage.
