Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding & Logistics

We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive to drive business growth by acquiring new clients and managing key accounts within the freight forwarding and logistics industry. The ideal candidate should have strong industry knowledge, excellent sales skills, and a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics market.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide tailored logistics solutions.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess market trends.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
• Negotiate contracts and collaborate with the operations team to ensure service delivery.
• Manage key accounts and understand clients’ ongoing needs.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted sales campaigns and promotional strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
• Conduct post-sale follow-ups to drive customer satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
• Use CRM systems to manage the sales pipeline, customer interactions, and sales reports.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of proven sales experience in the freight forwarding industry.
• Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and proven ability to close deals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong relationship management and customer service abilities.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts.
• Results-driven with a consistent track record of achieving revenue targets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to client locations and industry events.

Salary ₦200,000 – ₦300,000 Monthly
