Account Executive

Responsible for managing referral partnerships, processing commissions, maintaining accounts receivable, and supporting marketing initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in accounting or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update records of referral doctors, clinics, and HMOs.
• Calculate, verify, and process payments (commissions or referral fees) to referring practitioners and institutions.
• Manage invoices for referred patients and follow up on outstanding payments from partners.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM databases of all referral sources.
• Reconcile referral account transactions with the general ledger and prepare reports on referral trends and revenue.
• Act as the primary contact for inquiries from referral partners regarding billing, patient status, or payment queries.
• Collaborate with the marketing department to track the success of promotional events or campaigns.

Requirements

• BSc / HND in Accounting
• 1–3 years of experience as an Account Officer, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret referral data and manage complex financial records.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software like SAP, Sage 50 (Peachtree), QuickBooks, or hospital information systems (HIS).
• Excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships with external doctors and partners.
• Meticulous approach to recording data to ensure accuracy in invoicing and payments.
• Ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
