Meadow Hall Group is seeking an experienced, highly organised Store Manager to oversee the effective management, control, and distribution of all school inventory, supplies, equipment, and consumables. This role involves maintaining accurate records, implementing inventory systems, and ensuring timely availability of essential items across the school.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the school stores
• Maintain accurate records of stock received, issued, transferred, returned, damaged, or disposed of
• Implement and maintain an effective inventory management system
• Establish and monitor stock levels to prevent stock-outs and overstocking
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records
• Investigate and report stock variances, losses, and discrepancies
• Implement loss-prevention strategies to minimise pilferage, wastage, and expiry
• Ensure stock received/issued is properly checked and documented
• Monitor consumption patterns and apply FIFO/FEFO stock rotation
• Prepare inventory, stock movement, and variance reports for management
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Facilities, and Academic departments
• Manage stocktaking exercises and support internal/external audits
• Supervise, train, and monitor store personnel
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with school policies and health/safety requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, Operations Management, or related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in stores, inventory, logistics, supply chain, or operations
• Demonstrable experience managing inventory within a medium to large organisation
• Strong experience with inventory management software, ERP systems, or digital stock platforms
• Strong Excel and data management skills
• Experience conducting stocktaking, reconciliation, and inventory audits
• Previous experience in a school or educational institution is highly desirable

Salary ₦500,000 – ₦750,000 monthly
