About the role
Nutrition and Health Officer
Action Against Hunger is seeking a Nutrition and Health Officer to join the team in Sokoto, Sokoto State.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight on nutrition and health activities
- Observe and provide feedback on program activities
- Manage staff according to local culture and organizational policies
- Support primary health care and CMAM programming implementation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health, or other relevant qualifications with Public Health and CMAM programming experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in primary health care programs
- Excellent report-writing skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Hausa
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team management experience with similar programs
- Ability to observe and provide feedback on activities
- Ability to manage staff according to local culture and organization policies
