Vagan Oil & Gas Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microsoft Windows and VMware vSphere Administrator to design, implement, administer, optimize, and support enterprise Windows Server environments and VMware virtualization platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
• Manage enterprise Active Directory (Domain Controllers, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, Federation Services)
• Perform patching, upgrades, security hardening, and lifecycle management
• Manage Windows Failover Clustering and High Availability solutions
• Design, deploy, and maintain VMware environments (ESXi, vCenter, Clusters, HA, DRS, vMotion)
• Provision, optimize, migrate, and decommission virtual machines
• Support hybrid infrastructure integrating on-premises systems with Microsoft Azure
• Implement server/virtualization security baselines and remediate vulnerabilities
• Administer infrastructure monitoring and perform root cause analysis for incidents
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and VMware PowerCLI
• Serve as technical infrastructure lead for IT projects and application implementations
• Support application deployment across Dev, Test, SIT, UAT, and Production environments
• Support infrastructure transformation projects (data centre migrations, cloud migration, OS upgrades)
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior administrators
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline (Master's an advantage)
• Minimum of 8 years' experience managing enterprise Microsoft Windows Server environments
• Minimum of 5 years' hands-on VMware vSphere administration experience
• Experience supporting mission-critical data centre infrastructure and enterprise application implementations
• Strong technical skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, PowerShell, Microsoft Azure
• Strong technical skills in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion, vSAN (preferred)
• Experience with storage/backup technologies (Commvault, SAN/NAS, NetApp)
• Experience with monitoring and security tools (Microsoft Defender, SIEM, vulnerability management)
