About the role
Internal Services Officer
To coordinate office support services, including stationery, mail and courier management, meeting room scheduling, cleaning services, office movements, key management, and office equipment support.
Responsibilities
- Manage stationery and small office equipment inventory, procurement, and distribution.
- Receive and inspect stationery/material deliveries to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and mail tracking.
- Manage meeting room and event centre bookings, ensuring efficient scheduling without clashes.
- Supervise office cleaning services and ensure required standards are maintained.
- Coordinate office furniture, equipment, and staff movements.
- Support DSTV/satellite TV installation, maintenance, renewal, and repairs.
- Assist with office key management and spare-key requests.
- Maintain accurate records of stationery, furniture, equipment, requests, invoices, and contractor activities.
- Raise and follow up on payment documentation for contractor invoices.
- Monitor contractor performance and contract expiration/renewal requirements.
- Respond promptly to routine and emergency office service requests.
- Liaise with departments, vendors, contractors, Purchasing, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and safe working practices.
Requirements
- HND/B.Sc. in Management Sciences, Humanities, Arts, or a related discipline.
- 0–2 years’ relevant experience, preferably within a large-scale corporate or Oil & Gas environment.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and service providers effectively.
- Good record-keeping and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is an advantage.
- Diligence, honesty, and reliability are essential.
