Accountant

LandMall Technologies is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization
• Record daily financial transactions, including expenses, revenue, and bank deposits
• Assist in the preparation and management of budgets to ensure efficient financial planning and control
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue generation
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Assist in financial audits by providing relevant documentation and explanations to auditors
• Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Investigate and explain discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial performance
• Monitor and control expenses to ensure they align with the budget and company policies
• Utilize historical data and financial trends to forecast future financial performance
• Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and maintain data accuracy
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Manage cash flow by monitoring accounts receivable and payable
• Provide financial advice and recommendations to management for decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
