Accountant – H-CUE Catering

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to supervise accounting operations, ensure accuracy across all ledgers, and drive financial reporting and compliance for our organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review postings by Account Officers to ensure accuracy in the General Ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments with proper documentation and filing
• Conduct complex ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Drive month-end and year-end closing cycles; prepare comprehensive financial statements, reports, and schedules
• Ensure flawless execution and filing of monthly statutory compliance in alignment with Federal and State laws
• Serve as primary point of contact for external auditors, preparing audit trails and documentation
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and ERP workflow automation
• Provide technical guidance, performance assessments, and operational oversight to junior Account Officers

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 4–6 years of progressive experience in General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, or internal controls
• At least 1–2 years in a supervisory capacity
• Advanced proficiency in Cloud ERP platforms and MS Excel
• Deep understanding of IFRS standards, financial controls, and Nigerian tax regulations
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, high emotional intelligence, and excellent communication

• ICAN or ACCA professional certification
