Accountant

Power Ark Infrastructure Ltd is seeking a proactive and organized Accountant to manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations and ensure financial records are accurate and audit-ready.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
• Receive, record, and reconcile customer payments (cash, transfers, POS, etc.)
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Manage petty cash and perform bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts
• Ensure all financial records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready
• Establish and improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Handle statutory and regulatory accounting requirements
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years' post-NYSC accounting experience (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of accounting responsibilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• ICAN/ATS certification or active pursuit of professional accounting qualification (preferred)

Salary

₦200,000 – ₦300,000 (monthly)

Employment Details

• Work Schedule: Full-time, Onsite (Monday–Friday)
