Accounts Officer

Interrand Homes & Properties Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our finance team. You will maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and support budgeting and reporting functions across our real estate and transit park operations.

Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including rent, subscription, and revenue collections
• Prepare and maintain ledgers, cash books, and financial statements
• Process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers for vendors and contractors
• Support preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports for management review
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding client/subscriber payments
• Assist with payroll processing and staff expense reimbursements
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial records
• Support internal and external audit processes
• Liaise with banks for transactions, deposits, and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with statutory remittances (PAYE, pension, etc.)
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Head of Accounts/Finance

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–3 years' relevant experience (real estate or property management sector experience an advantage)
• Working knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Excel-based systems)
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting principles
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information
• ICAN/ANAN certification is an added advantage
