Business Development & Sales Officer

Elvaridah is seeking a results-driven Business Development & Sales Officer to drive revenue growth across assigned business units. This is a high-impact role ideal for a commercially savvy professional with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across assigned sectors through networking, referrals, digital platforms, and field activities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and deal closure
  • Build and maintain a strong, active sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
  • Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations to promote company products, properties, and services
  • Prepare professional sales proposals, quotations, and business presentations tailored to client needs

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and sustain long-term relationships with clients, corporate organisations, investors, distributors, property buyers, and key stakeholders
  • Understand client needs and provide suitable product, service, or investment recommendations
  • Ensure high standard of customer experience throughout the sales cycle and post-sale
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Handle client concerns efficiently by coordinating with relevant internal departments

Marketing & Brand Visibility:

  • Execute marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and market penetration
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking forums
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop campaigns, marketing materials, and promotional content
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities

Reporting & Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline status in the CRM system
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports
  • Track performance against targets and proactively recommend strategies for improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Estate Management, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of proven, hands-on sales and business development experience
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one of these core sectors: Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Commercial Sales, Retail, FMCG, or B2B Business Development
  • Verifiable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and deal-closing skills with a results-driven mindset
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Confident networker with ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels
  • Good understanding of customer acquisition, retention, and account management strategies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Analytical thinker who can identify business opportunities and translate them into revenue
