Retail Sales Representative

A Retail Sales Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service, promoting products, and driving sales in a retail environment. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and understand their request
• Recommend suitable products based on customers' preferences and budgets
• Actively promote products and drive sales
• Process customer orders and ensure accurate delivery of products
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Follow up with prospective and existing customers to generate repeat business
• Maintain proper records of sales and customer transactions
• Keep the retail space and product displays neat and attractive
• Work with the team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets
• Provide feedback on customer preferences, market trends, and product demand
• Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues where necessary

Requirements

• B.Sc. Degree, OND or HND qualification in any relevant field
• Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, or a related role is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-focused and approachable personality
• Ability to persuade and negotiate effectively
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills
• Must be willing to work 6 days a week
