Operation Officer

The Operations Officer is responsible for assisting in coordinating warehouse and delivery operations to ensure the timely receipt, storage, quality inspection, and distribution of materials. The role ensures accurate documentation, efficient inventory handling, and excellent customer service while supporting smooth day-to-day operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries to ensure correct amount and type of stock
• Carry out packing, crating, warehousing, and storage duties in preparation for delivery
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain relationships with client representatives
• Regularly update logs and order forms
• Sign delivery notes upon receipt of shipments
• Follow appropriate procedures for handling stock, particularly fragile items
• Unpack items and arrange on shelves as needed
• Prepare clients' orders by gathering and loading stock
• Ensure vehicles remain clean, sanitary, and well-organized for delivery
• Ensure materials/items are appropriately stored and packed for delivery
• Handle quality checks of materials/items prior to delivery
• Provide list of all equipment moved from consolidation areas to project coordinators
• Promptly answer questions from staff and stakeholders
• Prepare and file forms and documents
• Analyze delivery activities and forward improvement suggestions to Warehouse Logistic Officer

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Transportation, Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Work experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Willingness and ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities, including overtime or extended hours
• Proximity to Lekki/Ajah is a plus

Salary

N100,000 – N150,000 monthly depending on qualifications and experience
