Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the company’s accounting operations and provide accurate financial information to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Financial reporting
• Cost monitoring
• Budgeting
• Reconciliations
• Inventory accounting
• Ensuring that financial records are accurate and up to date

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role
• Experience in manufacturing, furniture, construction, interior design, or a similar industry is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, inventory accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of Nigerian tax and statutory requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
