Marketing Manager
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that strengthen inq.'s market position, build brand visibility, support revenue growth, and position the organization as a credible digital solutions partner. This role involves translating inq.'s capabilities into compelling market propositions, working with cross-functional teams, and driving measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Translate and consistently apply inq.'s corporate positioning, brand identity, and messaging across all market-facing channels.
- Strengthen inq.'s visibility and reputation within the Nigerian technology and digital solutions ecosystem.
- Develop initiatives that position inq. as a credible voice on relevant industry and technology issues.
- Ensure consistency of brand messaging across campaigns, presentations, digital platforms, events, and external communications.
- Identify opportunities for executive and corporate thought leadership.
- Develop compelling value propositions and go-to-market plans for inq.'s products and solutions.
- Translate technical capabilities into clear business benefits for target customers and industries.
- Work with Product, Technology, and Sales teams to develop solution messaging, sales collateral, case studies, and campaign assets.
- Support the introduction and market activation of new products, solutions, and partnerships.
- Develop sector-specific propositions based on customer needs and market opportunities.
- Develop integrated campaigns that generate awareness, engagement, and qualified commercial opportunities.
- Work closely with Sales to identify priority markets, accounts, sectors, and opportunities.
- Develop marketing programs that support the sales pipeline and customer acquisition strategy.
- Provide Sales with relevant content, presentations, case studies, campaign materials, and other enablement tools.
- Track the contribution of marketing activities to pipeline and commercial outcomes.
- Lead the development of relevant content across the website, social media, email, digital platforms, and other channels.
- Manage the content calendar and ensure timely delivery of high-quality market-facing content.
- Drive website optimization, SEO, and digital engagement initiatives.
- Develop thought leadership, customer stories, industry insights, and other content that demonstrates inq.'s expertise.
- Coordinate external communications and PR activities with relevant agencies and partners.
- Monitor digital performance and use insights to improve campaigns.
- Proactively identify and manage the industry events & engagements calendar, with the objective of participation and visibility for the company.
- Develop and manage strategic marketing events, industry engagements, sponsorships, and activations.
- Identify opportunities for joint marketing initiatives with technology partners, customers, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
- Coordinate participation in relevant industry forums, conferences, and technology events.
- Maximize the commercial and reputational value of events and partnerships through pre-event, event, and post-event engagement.
- Maintain relationships with relevant media, industry platforms, and marketing partners.
- Identify opportunities to turn successful customer engagements into market proof.
- Develop customer case studies, testimonials, success stories, and reference materials.
- Work with Customer Success and Sales to identify customers willing to participate in advocacy activities.
- Build a library of credible evidence demonstrating the impact of inq.'s solutions.
- Use customer outcomes to strengthen brand credibility and commercial propositions.
- Develop the annual marketing plan aligned with commercial and corporate priorities.
- Manage the approved marketing budget and ensure activities are delivered within agreed parameters.
- Establish KPIs for campaigns and marketing programs.
- Track marketing performance, ROI, and contribution to commercial objectives.
- Provide regular marketing performance reports and recommendations to management.
- Manage external agencies, suppliers, and marketing partners effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Professional marketing qualification such as CIM is an advantage.
- Minimum 6–8 years' relevant marketing experience, with substantial experience in B2B marketing.
