Administrative & Student Support Officer
Peopleplusng is seeking an Administrative & Student Support Officer to provide administrative and operational support to the Institute while serving as the liaison between prospective students, enrolled students, faculty, and Head Office. The successful candidate will manage student communications across multiple platforms, coordinate administrative processes, support programme delivery, and ensure a seamless student experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for prospective and enrolled students across all communication channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, email, website chat, and other digital platforms)
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries received via digital platforms
- Guide prospective students through the admissions and enrolment process
- Maintain regular communication with enrolled students regarding classes, schedules, assessments, examinations, and institute announcements
- Coordinate communication between Head Office, faculty, facilitators, and students
- Maintain accurate student records, enrolment data, attendance registers, and administrative documentation
- Coordinate class schedules, learning materials, training logistics, and programme administration
- Support the planning and execution of training sessions, workshops, examinations, graduation ceremonies, and other institute activities
- Monitor and follow up on student enquiries, registrations, documentation, and outstanding administrative requirements
- Support the implementation of operational processes and ensure compliance with Institute policies
- Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, certificates, and other administrative documents
- Escalate student concerns and operational issues to appropriate personnel
- Provide general administrative support and perform other duties assigned by Management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Education, Management, Mass Communication, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative, student support, customer service, or operations role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and relationship management skills
- Experience managing enquiries across social media platforms, WhatsApp Business, email, and other digital communication channels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, proactive, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Experience working in an educational institution, training institute, or professional services environment is an added advantage
Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly
