Senior Project Accountant / Finance Manager

African Industries Group (AIG) is seeking an accomplished Senior Project Accountant / Finance Manager to drive financial performance, governance, and strategic decision-making across engineering and construction business units.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgeting, costing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting
• Monitor project profitability and cost controls
• Partner with project managers, engineers, and quantity surveyors
• Ensure IFRS compliance and statutory reporting
• Supervise and develop project accounting teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 15 years' experience in construction or engineering project accounting
• Strong knowledge of contract accounting and percentage-of-completion reporting
• Excellent financial analysis and project control skills
• ICAN, ACCA, or ACA qualification (mandatory)
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification (advantageous)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax and regulatory environment
• Proficiency in ERP systems
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
