Demand Planner

Givanas Group is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join their Supply Chain team in Apapa, Lagos. This role involves developing accurate SKU-level demand forecasts and collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain to drive effective inventory management, production scheduling, and replenishment strategies across FMCG product portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update rolling demand forecasts across categories and SKUs.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, seasonality, promotional campaigns, and new product launches to refine forecasting models.
• Lead monthly demand reviews and actively support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Track, evaluate, and report on forecast accuracy and bias, driving continuous root-cause improvements.
• Translate consensus demand plans into operational inventory, procurement, and production requirements.
• Maintain system data integrity and dashboards across ERP and planning software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in Demand Planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), or Supply Chain Forecasting within FMCG or manufacturing.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, complex formulas, forecasting/statistical modeling) and hands-on experience with ERP/planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Strong numerical reasoning, analytical problem-solving, and cross-functional communication capabilities.
