Project Accountant – Karisa Consults Limited

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant to manage financial operations for large-scale, donor-funded projects. You will ensure 100% audit readiness, maintain strict international compliance, and deliver accurate project financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Compile, verify, and conduct quality assurance checks on all project receipts, invoices, and expense reports
• Collate and manage monthly project budgets; track expenditures against milestones and perform variance analysis
• Calculate and prepare all project financials, including accurate DEG call notice processing
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements aligned with international donor standards and IFRS
• Monitor currency exchange impacts and manage financial risks in cross-border operations

Requirements

• Active ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) certification
• Bachelor's degree (BSc) or higher in Accounting
• Proven experience in project accounting, particularly with large-scale international or donor-funded projects
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
• Deep understanding of IFRS standards
• Proficiency with AI tools for financial data analysis, automation, and reporting
