About the role
Website Developer & Manager
GMYT Group Limited is seeking a skilled Website Developer & Manager to build, maintain, and optimize digital platforms across all GMYT websites, ensuring seamless performance and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and manage all GMYT websites including e-commerce, corporate, and landing pages
- Ensure websites are responsive, fast, secure, and SEO-optimized
- Manage CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, and custom-built sites
- Implement updates, plugins, security patches, and backups regularly
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure 99%+ uptime
- Collaborate with Marketing, ICT, and Branding teams to deploy new features and campaigns
- Monitor analytics, site performance, and user experience to drive continuous improvement
- Maintain domain, hosting, and SSL certificate renewals
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in web development and management
- Proven experience as a Website Developer/Manager with portfolio of live sites
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and at least one modern framework
- Hands-on experience with WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS platforms
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and performance optimization tools
- Familiarity with web hosting, cPanel, Git, and basic server management
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
