Responsibilities

• Operate various imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI scanners, and ultrasound machines
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering questions, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Take and process images, ensuring that the images are of high quality and meet the required diagnostic standards
• Ensure radiation safety for both patients and healthcare staff, following protocols and regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging results and procedures
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal operation and image quality
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and plan patient care
• Perform routine quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure its proper functioning

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Radiography
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Attention to detail
• Computer proficiency
• Business acumen
• Must presently reside in Abakaliki or be able to easily procure accommodation
• Membership of related professional associations is an advantage
• Previous experience in a similar leadership position is a plus
