Role Overview

Alpha Pharma is seeking an Accountant to join their team in Ikeja. The role involves maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing budgets, and handling accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining financial records
• Preparing financial reports
• Managing budgets
• Handling accounts payable and receivable
• Reconciling bank statements
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
• Assisting with audits
• Supporting financial forecasting and analysis

Requirements

• Proficiency in accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting
• Experience in accounting software like QuickBooks or ERP
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Capability to prepare bank reconciliations and handle accounts payable/receivable
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, ICAN) are a plus
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is advantageous
